Three important commanders were among the 17 terrorists slain in KP operations.

During combined operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces have killed 17 militants, including three important commanders.

The military, police, and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out the operations in several parts of Lakki Marwat and Bannu.

Top commanders of the local branches of the “Khawarij” (extremist) group were killed, and a substantial quantity of weapons and ammunition was collected from the terrorists.

Ten militants were killed and five more were wounded in a different operation in the Sheri Khel and Paka Pahar Khel regions. During the operation, a facilitator was also taken into custody.
Three terrorist remains were located in a challenging mountainous area, making it impossible to recover the remaining seven.

Important commanders including Abdullah, also known as Shapankoi, and Niaz Ali, also known as Akasha, who were both wanted by security services, were among the terrorists slain.

Police, CTD, and the local peace committee worked together to conduct more operations in the Nasarkhel region of Lakki Marwat, which resulted in the death of one more terrorist. Strong support for law enforcement was demonstrated by the local community’s active participation in the operations.

Police and local peace committees clashed with terrorists in Bannu’s Hawaid neighborhood, but the insurgents were able to flee.

Khawarij militants also opened fire on a police party in Domail.
