Three people are killed and dozens injured in the Lahore Gulberg hotel fire.

In the Gulberg area of Lahore, a small hotel’s basement suddenly caught fire, resulting in three fatalities, five injuries, and the rescue of 180 people.

The bodies of Imran, Shehryar, and Riaz were found in the hotel, according to a Rescue 1122 representative.

Imran and Riaz were both thirty years old, and Shehryar was twenty-three. For treatment, the injured were brought to the hospital.

Rescue 1122 claims that after receiving the alert, prompt action was taken. The search and rescue effort involved 80 persons, including cops, and 21 emergency vehicles. Basement 1 was badly impacted by the operation, which concentrated on the basement levels. The hotel has three basement floors and is a 19-story structure that occupies four kanals.

The basement was the only area affected by the fire, and 180 people had been safely evacuated, according to Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman. The building is empty of people.

Mobeen, the injured staff member, has been admitted to Jinnah Hospital’s Burn Unit. According to hospital officials, he sustained burns that covered 44% of his body and is still in severe condition. At the hospital, Chief Secretary Zaman paid the patient a visit.

Maryam Nawaz, the chief minister of Punjab, praised Rescue 1122’s prompt actions and stated that everyone who was trapped has been safely removed. She gave the order for rescue crews to stay on the scene until everyone was safely removed. The Chief Secretary, the DG LDA, and provincial ministers were on the ground to supervise operations.
