Three students from Dow Medical University drown at Manora Beach in Karachi.

On Wednesday, three Dow Medical University students drowned while three others were saved while swimming off Karachi’s Manora Beach.
Details indicate that a picnic for Dow Medical University final-year students descended into tragedy when six students were carried away by powerful waves. Rescue teams at the beach quickly initiated an operation and retrieved the lifeless corpses of three pupils from the sea while three were rescued in critical condition.
The deceased were identified as final-year medical students Ashhad, Isharib Munir, and Ahmed Kashif.
The university administration reports that 150 students attended the official university picnic, which was held at Hawksbay Beach. Nevertheless, the 15-student group visited Manora without telling the university’s management.
According to a university representative, the unfortunate occurrence happened at Manora, but the students who attended the official Hawksbay picnic returned unharmed.
