To address security issues, the president urges national unity and integrated strategies.

In order to address Pakistan’s current security issues, President Asif Ali Zardari emphasised the value of knowledgeable leadership, national unity, and integrated policymaking.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the president made this statement while speaking to attendees of the 27th National Security Workshop (NSW-27) at the National Defence University (NDU), Islamabad.
Members of parliament, high-ranking military and civil servants, and representatives from academia and public society were also present at the workshop. The goal of NSW-27 was to help participants better grasp how different aspects of national power interact within the context of Comprehensive National Security.
During his speech, the President praised the participants’ commitment to raising awareness of national security and thanked them on finishing the course successfully.
One of the best venues in the nation for encouraging national-level discourse, building institutional capacity, and advocating for a national security strategy that involves the entire country is still NDU’s National Security Workshop.
The graduating participants also received certificates from the president.
