To improve defense relations, the PAF head talks with the Saudi military command.

Following his arrival in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan Air Force Chief of Air Staff Zaheer Ahmed Babar attended a number of important talks with Saudi military officials, highlighting the two nations’ expanding strategic alliance.

Saudi Chief of Staff Fayyad Al-Ruwaili welcomed Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar with open arms upon his arrival. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have a long and tight defense partnership, which was reflected in the reception.

Along with other significant regional and professional issues of shared concern, the two military officials also discussed Pak-Saudi military relations during the meeting.

Pay attention to the military ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan
Strengthening current defense cooperation and improving institutional ties between the two nations’ armed forces were the main topics of discussion. Future partnership frameworks and issues of common strategic concern were also examined.

In light of the changing regional security landscape, both parties reiterated their dedication to upholding tight collaboration.

Meeting with Saudi Air Force Commander Marshal Babar also had a meeting with Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the commander of the Saudi Air Force. During the conflict, senior military officers from the Royal Saudi Air Force and the Pakistan Air Force were present.

With a focus on professional cooperation, capacity building, and shared operational experience, it was decided to significantly advance bilateral cooperation between the Saudi Air Force and the Pakistan Air Force.

The high-level meetings demonstrate the close defense ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan as well as their mutual determination to increase collaboration in a variety of fields. The visit is a reflection of both sides’ ongoing efforts to improve air force interoperability and solidify military-to-military ties.
