To stop child labor, the Punjab government chooses to provide monthly stipends.

The Punjab government has decided to give parents of minors monthly stipends in an effort to get them out of the workforce and back into school. This is a significant step in the fight against child labor.
Official information states that parents of children under the age of eighteen will be eligible for conditional financial assistance if they prevent their children from working. After receiving financial aid, the kids will be enrolled in educational and skill-building programs so they can learn and develop rather than start working at a young age.
The Punjab government will establish special task groups and create a thorough plan to end child labor in order to implement the plan. Additionally, suggestions have been made to update and improve the current child labor legislation.
More than 20 duties, including digital mapping and geotagging of working youngsters, have been given to the committees. To assist impacted children and their families, a special hotline and rehabilitation facilities will be set up.
