Today, Karachi is experiencing the presence of dark clouds, and rain is expected.
After a welcome shift in the weather on Tuesday with a burst of rain, Karachi has been overshadowed by ominous clouds in the sky since early this morning.
Because to the previous day’s rain, Karachiites are enjoying much more pleasant weather because it is cold and fresh. The current temperature is reported to be 29 degrees Celsius, with a high percentage of humidity at 92%.
According to the Met Department, Karachi will have rain throughout the day in varied degrees of intensity. Showers ranging from light to heavy are predicted, especially in the afternoon and at night. Right now, the wind is blowing at three knots per hour, which is a moderate speed.
Temperatures are predicted to rise marginally throughout the day, ranging between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius, despite the overcast skies and possible showers. The temperature prediction appears to be off, though, with a possible dip as low as 10 to 15 degrees being predicted.
The Met Office in Lahore, meanwhile, issued a monsoon rain notice when the air’s humidity level reached 82%. According to the PDMA, Lahore will see monsoon showers between August 3 and 4.
According to the Met Department, it might rain again during the monsoon today, Wednesday. Dengue incidences are rising in the city as a result of the monsoon. The weather office claimed that “eleven patients were reported in Lahore in 24 hours.”
In Kashmir, upper/central Punjab, Islamabad, higher Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, southeast Sindh, and south Balochistan, rain, windstorms, and thundershowers are also predicted.
