Tomorrow, President Zardari will speak before a joint session of Parliament.

In preparation for his constitutional address, President Asif Ali Zardari has called a joint session of Parliament for tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.
The Constitution’s Articles 54(1) and 56(3), which provide the President the power to call Parliament to such sessions, have been used to call the session. The National Assembly Secretariat claims that the President’s speech satisfies a constitutional obligation and that this joint session is customarily held at the start of each parliamentary year. President Zardari will be speaking to a joint assembly for the ninth time.
Given the difficult regional environment, increased security measures are in place as preparations for the session get begin. Retaliatory strikes in the Gulf region, the ongoing hostilities between the United States, Israel, and Iran, and the conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan are among the recent events on which the president is anticipated to react.
In addition, the president will discuss the government’s two-year performance, national priorities, constitutional supremacy, democratic consolidation, sustainable economic development, regional and international affairs, and Pakistan’s commitment to combating terrorism, including efforts to dismantle terrorist networks with foreign support.
