Train service is halted after the Sir Syed Express derails close to Rohri.

Before arriving at Rohri Railway Station, the accident happened 1.5 kilometers away. From Karachi to Rawalpindi, the Sir Syed Express was traveling.

To quickly restore the destroyed track, a rescue effort has been launched in the interim.

The Sir Syed Express was reopened a few days ago by Pakistan Railways (PR) officials.
