At least two people, including a police officer, were fatalities in a collision between a water truck and a motorbike in Karachi on Thursday.

The incident transpired near ICI Bridge in Karachi, where a recklessly operated water tanker collided with a motorbike, resulting in the immediate fatalities of two individuals. The individuals that perished were identified as Amir and a police officer named Gulfam.

Law enforcement and rescue personnel arrived to the location upon notification and transported the deceased and injured to the hospital. The police have apprehended the water tanker driver and initiated an inquiry.

This month, the death toll from numerous road incidents has reached 73.
