UAE PM and President Zardari promise to further their partnership.

At Zabeel Palace, resident Asif Ali Zardari had a meeting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Dubai.
With an emphasis on growing trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE, the two presidents talked about ways to improve bilateral ties.
President Zardari praised Dubai’s incredible transformation into a global hub for tourism, finance, and emerging technology and complimented the UAE prime on 20 years of leadership as the ruler of Dubai. Both parties discussed how to take use of Dubai’s development expertise, especially in the areas of ports, logistics, infrastructure, digital financial services, and information technology.
The president reviewed prospects for increased collaboration with the UAE in the areas of infrastructure development, logistics, food security, and technology-driven industries while highlighting Pakistan’s current economic reforms, which include privatization and investment facilitation. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was invited to visit Pakistan by President Zardari.
Both sides expressed pleasure with the improved trajectory of bilateral ties and reiterated their commitment to further strengthening the brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE.
The leaders emphasized the value of high-level interactions, mentioned Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s recent visit to Pakistan, and recognized the UAE’s ongoing assistance for Pakistan’s economic growth. They also emphasized the important role that the Pakistani community in the United Arab Emirates plays in fostering closer ties between individuals.
First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party Mr. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates were present at the meeting.
