Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the chairman of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), stated on Wednesday that Faisal Vawda did not convey any message at their recent meeting, and deliberations over the provisions of the 27th constitutional amendment will occur following an examination of its draft.
In a media address at the Parliament House in Islamabad, Fazlur Rehman stated that his meeting with Faisal Vawda was a customary political engagement, and such interactions are commonplace.
He additionally stated that Bilawal Bhutto may have disclosed certain facts pertaining to the 27th constitutional amendment; however, it remains uncertain whether this information is accurate.
Fazlur Rehman stated that JUI-F would evaluate the 27th Constitutional Amendment only subsequent to the publication of its text. Prior to that, no statements can be made; conjecture must be eschewed, he remarked.
Earlier today, Senator Faisal Vawda convened with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence in Islamabad to deliberate on the nation’s prevailing political circumstances.
The leaders discussed political developments and matters of national significance. Aslam Ghauri, the spokesperson for JUI-F, was also in attendance during the conference.
