Venues for the 2026 T20 World Cup are confirmed by ICC.

The 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup locations have been formally confirmed by the International Cricket Council (ICC), ensuring that India and Sri Lanka will host matches together.
The final is expected to take place in Ahmedabad, according to sources from the Indian media. Nevertheless, the championship match will be held in Sri Lanka if Pakistan advances to the final.
Eight locations in all, three in Sri Lanka and five in India, have reportedly been finalized, according to sources. The Indian cities of Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chennai, and Mumbai have been chosen to host matches. Two locations in Colombo and one in Kandy, Sri Lanka, have received approval.
In keeping with the previous tournament’s concept, 20 teams will compete in the 2026 edition. Four groups of five will be formed from the teams. Each group’s top two teams advance to the Super Eight round, where the semi-finalists will be chosen.
As fans from all over the area eagerly await the preparations of both India and Sri Lanka to host foreign teams, this will be another significant ICC tournament in South Asia. With two cricket-loving nations coming together for the world championship, the 2026 T20 World Cup is expected to be one of the biggest editions to date.
