Violation of the code of conduct: ECP issues a written order against Talal

In the case against Interior Minister Talal Chaudhry for violating the code of conduct, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) issued an interim order on Tuesday.
Talal Chaudhry breached the code of conduct on multiple occasions, according to the ECP’s ruling. Talal Chaudhry’s request to be excused from making a personal appearance in court was granted. He did not, however, offer a convincing explanation for his absence.
The respondent, Talal Chaudhry, is ordered by the Election Commission to show up in person for the subsequent hearing. There are severe repercussions for breaking the code of conduct, including the potential for the candidate to be disqualified.
Additionally, according to the ECP ruling, respondent’s brother, Bilal Chaudhry, is the NA-96 Faisalabad candidate who won, and his notification shouldn’t be given out until additional directives are given.
