When the sea air comes back, Karachi stays hot and muggy.

At 33 degrees Celsius, the meteorological bureau reports that southwesterly winds are blowing in Karachi at a pace of 23 kilometers per hour.

According to the Met Office report, it has felt like 42 degrees Celsius.

In this city with little greenery, the southwesterly sea breeze that once helped to moderate the weather has returned.

Although there has been some respite, the next day is still projected to be hot and muggy, with highs of about 37°C. A low of 31.5 degrees Celsius was recorded.

The atmospheric humidity ratio is still 71%.

That night, which was officially the warmest night of July in more than 60 years, was a result of the low air pressure system that brought with it a severe heatwave to the city.

32 degrees Celsius and 70% humidity were the lowest recorded temperatures on July 1st night, according to the Met Office.

An official in charge of meteorology said that Karachi’s weather was affected by the low-pressure area that was centered over Indian Gujarat.
