PML-N and PPP agree not to make antagonistic statements.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) have agreed to a ceasefire, and both sides have been told to stop making antagonistic statements. A group from the government met with President Asif Ali Zardari, and both the PML-N and PPP agreed not to make any more verbal attacks.
A high-level government group went to Zardari House in Nawabshah to meet with President Asif Ali Zardari in order to help calm the tensions between the Punjab government and the PPP.
The group included Ishaq Dar, the Deputy Prime Minister, Ayaz Sadiq, the Speaker of the National Assembly, and Mohsin Naqvi, the Federal Interior Minister. There was a discussion during the meeting on a number of problems that have come up because of the current tensions between the Punjab and Sindh governments.
Sources said that the government team told President Zardari about the talks that took place earlier in the day in Islamabad between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and leaders of the PML-N party.
The summit also talked about the country’s overall security and political condition, as well as issues that affect the region and the world.
It’s important to note that the Punjab and Sindh governments have been fighting with words for the previous few days.
The PPP was really unhappy about something that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said. The PPP even left the National Assembly and asked CM Punjab to apologize.
But Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that if anyone says anything bad about Punjab, she will safeguard the people of the province and will not apologize.
