Today is World Youth Skills Day.

Today (Wednesday) is World Youth Skills Day, which is being marked worldwide, including in Pakistan, with the goal of giving all young people the skills they need to prosper in a shared future.
In order to raise awareness of the critical need to provide young people with technical, vocational, and future-ready skills for employment, decent labor, and entrepreneurship, the United Nations General Assembly established World Youth Skills Day on July 15.
The day’s theme for 2026 is “Skills for a shared future,” which emphasizes integrating digital and technical skills with civic and social-emotional capabilities to assist the younger generation in navigating the green transition and the quick changes in technology.
