Tonight, the largest and brightest supermoon of the year will illuminate the skies.

This evening, the biggest and brightest supermoon of the year will light up the sky, making it viewable from Pakistan and a number of other nations.
The moon appears larger and brighter than usual during a supermoon, which happens when the full moon falls during the moon’s closest orbital approach to Earth.
A SUPARCO representative said that this supermoon, which will be the second of three this year, will be exceptionally bright and large. The moon will be only 221,817 miles from Earth at its brightest point today at 6:19 p.m., making it roughly 9.7% bigger and 16% brighter than a normal full moon.
Soon after it rises, the moon will be most visible in Pakistan, providing a stunning vista for both astronomy lovers and the general public, the spokesperson continued.
The next supermoon is anticipated in December, making this the second of the year’s three.
According to astronomers, Pakistan’s bright winter sky will make the phenomena much more noticeable, particularly in locations that are darker and less exposed to light. This makes it both an astronomical event and a breathtaking natural sight.
