Suicide explosion at the Islamabad Judicial Complex: CTD files a FIR

After the suicide explosion at the Islamabad Judicial Complex, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) filed a First Information Report (FIR).

Sources claim that the FIR, which cites several provisions of the Anti-Terrorism Act, was filed in the state’s name under No. 10/25. Charges of murder, attempted murder, and other serious crimes are part of the case. The specifics of the dead, injured, panic brought on by the explosion, and car damage are all recorded in the FIR.

Investigations into the event have been started by law enforcement. The evidence retrieved from the bomb site has been turned over to forensic specialists for additional analysis.

Following a post-mortem and other legal procedures, the bodies of every deceased of the Islamabad Judicial Complex explosion have been given to their families.

Thirteen injured people, including one in critical condition, are currently receiving care, according to sources from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS). After the explosion, 36 injured people were admitted to PIMS. The body of attorney Zubair Aslam Ghuman has also been turned over to his family by PIMS authorities.

According to authorities, 12 people were killed and 36 injured in yesterday’s explosion, which was a suicide strike against a police car outside the courthouse. According to preliminary indications, the attack on Islamabad was carried out by proxies from Afghanistan and India.
