A fireworks factory explosion in Hyderabad left at least six people dead and seven injured.

Authorities reported on Saturday that six persons had been killed and four badly injured in a massive explosion at a fireworks manufacturing factory in Hyderabad.
The building was totally demolished by the blast, which also caused a massive fire and sent shockwaves around the neighbourhood.
The event took place in a factory in Laghari Goth, which is under the authority of the B-Section police in Latifabad. Witnesses stated that a massive explosion ripped across the building after flames abruptly devoured the grounds. As smoke and debris filled the air, local residents hurried to the scene.
Local fire departments and Rescue 1122 emergency squads were sent out right away. Seven seriously hurt people were rescued from the wreckage and transported for immediate medical attention to Bhitai Hospital and Civil Hospital. Teams from Urban Search & Rescue (USAR) are still looking for additional possible victims who may be buried beneath debris using sophisticated equipment.
Tahir Laghari, an eyewitness, stated, “We live close by. It was a loud explosion. Eleven or twelve injured people were seen being transported away right quickly. He went on to say that despite objections to the local police, the factory had been in operation since 2022 and had previously experienced three explosions.
Ziaul Hasan Lanjhar, the interior minister of Sindh, has asked SSP Hyderabad for an initial report and underlined the need to confirm that the facility was functioning under a legal licence. In the event that the plant broke safety rules, he directed authorities to file a lawsuit against the owners and other accountable parties.
In response to the event, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has ordered that injured workers receive prompt, high-quality medical attention. In addition, he demanded a thorough assessment of the factory’s safety protocols and directed the Hyderabad Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner to provide a comprehensive report. The Chief Minister issued a warning, saying that any carelessness in protecting employees would not be accepted.
