A sixteen-point agenda is going to be presented to the National Assembly when it meets today (Monday) at five o’clock in the afternoon.

A motion of thanks on the President’s address will be presented, and four major measures will be moved to the table. These are among the important subjects that will be discussed.

An modification to the Electricity Act will be proposed by Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, the Federal Minister for Energy, while a bill to alter the Pakistan Penal Code will be presented by the Minister of Interior.

Additionally, Sardar Awais Leghari will recommend revisions to the Act that governs the discipline of energy generation, transmission, and distribution. These suggestions will be made in the future.

Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, who serves as the Minister of Finance, is going to propose a measure that revolves on financial institutions and the recovery of finances.

A semiannual and monitoring report on the Seventh National Football Championship Award will also be presented by Aurangzeb. In addition, Member of National Assembly Aliya Kamran will issue a notice to bring attention to the decrease in tax income.

During the course of the meeting, Abdul Qadir Patel will propose a motion about the delays that have occurred in the reports of the standing committee.
