OGRA announces substantial increase in LPG pricing

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has declared a significant rise in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) pricing.

OGRA’s statement states that the price of LPG per kilogram has increased by Rs78.28, resulting in a new maximum price of Rs304.12 per kg.

The pricing for household cylinders weighing 11.8 kg would now be Rs3,588.59. The updated rates will take effect on April 1, 2026, and will pertain to both domestically produced and imported LPG.

OGRA said that the producer price for LPG is established at Rs3,101.25 per cylinder. The adjusted pricing encompasses marketing, distribution, and transportation margins.

OGRA has raised LPG rates by Rs78.28 per kilogram, resulting in household cylinders now priced at Rs3,588.59. The increase, effective April 1, 2026, pertains to both domestic and imported LPG and encompasses distribution and marketing margins.
