Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives are meant to reduce hostilities: Saeed Rizwan

Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Pakistan’s ambassador to the US, stated on Friday that Pakistan has upheld its long-standing positive history by pursuing diplomatic initiatives, adding that these initiatives are intended to reduce tensions.
Rizwan Saeed Sheikh said that high-level diplomatic activities related the ceasefire and negotiating process were continue while addressing on the popular NBC program “Meet the Press.”
He claimed that Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, and other allies supported and helped Pakistan during this diplomatic procedure. He continued by saying that the discussion process started in Islamabad had a positive attitude and that communication and understanding would help to overcome problems.
Rizwan Saeed Sheikh went on to say that Pakistan is effectively acting as a facilitator and that the parties involved are ultimately responsible for settling any unresolved issues. He underlined that diplomacy should be given a full opportunity at this time and noted that both Pakistan and the world community are yearning for a peaceful resolution of the situation.
