A delegation from Iran will meet with the PM Shehbaz prior to US negotiations

The team will visit Prime Minister Sharif at midday, according to Iran’s Tasnim news agency.
The visit is part of preparations for US-Iran negotiations to resolve the ongoing violence in the Middle East, according to the media outlet, which is affiliated to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is part of the Iranian team, which is headed by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
The group also visited Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir on Friday night, highlighting Islamabad’s crucial role as a mediator in the diplomatic process.
The conversations take place ahead of crucial US-Iran negotiations in Islamabad, which are intended to ensure a long-term resolution to the ongoing regional strife.
