Due to security concerns, the authorities in Tank implemented Section 144 on Sunday, which completely prohibits mobility.

The district administration claims that the decision was made based on security services’ advice and probable threats, with the goal of averting any unfavourable events and maintaining peace and stability in the region.

On April 12, limitations will continue to be in effect from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, according to Deputy Commissioner Tanveer Khan’s announcement and formal notification.

All key routes, including those to Kaur Fort, Khargi Jandola, Gardawi, Nili Kach, and Gomal Zam Dam, would remain closed, according to the announcement. Additionally, Jandola Bazaar will be shut down entirely.

However, the limitations do not apply to emergency services or law police.

Citizens are encouraged to always carry identification documents and must seek authorisation from police or security personnel in the event of an emergency.
