Fits Air begins operating in Pakistan with flights from Colombo to Lahore.

Fits Air, a Sri Lankan airline, has entered the Pakistani market by starting direct flights from Colombo to Lahore. The airline’s first aircraft arrived in the eastern metropolis on Saturday night, according to aviation authorities.
The airline entered the Pakistani market when Flight 8D-981, with 134 passengers, touched down at Allama Iqbal International Airport at 8:35 p.m.
It is anticipated that the launch will improve connectivity between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, providing more ways to travel between the two nations.
According to a statement from the Pakistan Airports Authority, “passengers were warmly received and presented with roses upon arrival.”
