After the price of diesel dropped, public transportation fares decreased.

Following a drop in diesel prices, public transportation fares have been lowered throughout Pakistan.
Following the federal government’s announcement of a Rs32.12 drop in petrol prices, intercity and interprovincial rates have been reduced by as much as 5% every day.
Travel from Lahore to major destinations is now more reasonably priced, according to the new pricing schedule. Fares from Lahore to Hyderabad have decreased from Rs 5,020 to Rs 4,770 and from Lahore to Karachi from Rs 5,390 to Rs 5,120.
In a same vein, fares from Lahore to Bahawalpur and Multan have dropped from Rs1,970 to Rs1,870, while fares from Lahore to Sukkur are now Rs3,450 rather than Rs3,630.
Authorities have warned that anyone charging more will face severe consequences and have directed operators to apply the new prices right away.
