Zilqad month starts when the nation sees the crescent moon.

After receiving reports of moon sightings from various regions of the nation, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, announced the sighting of the Zilqad moon.
The first Zilqad begins on Sunday (today) with the moon sighting. The new moon was born on April 17 at 4:52 p.m., according to Suparco, and there was a very good probability of seeing it on the evening of April 18.
Speaking to the media, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad stated that the weather was gloomy in certain areas of the nation and clear in others. People from all throughout the nation reported seeing the moon.
He asked Allah to shield Pakistan from both foreign and domestic dangers. He commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for their efforts to bring about regional peace. He continued, “Pakistan is proud of its top leadership.”
