Iranian diplomat says claims of diplomacy together with blockade are not acceptable.

Reza Amiri Moghadam, Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, said that claims of diplomacy with a blockade are not acceptable. This was in response to the United States’ blockade of the Strait of Hormuz,

He stated in a statement that someone can’t be a supporter of diplomacy just by making words while breaking international laws, making the Strait of Hormuz blockade even worse, threatening Iran with further assaults, and making unreasonable demands.

The Iranian envoy also said that as long as the Strait of Hormuz embargo is in place, the situation will stay tense and dangerous.
