Two terrorists with Indian support are killed by security forces in Bannu.

In an intelligence-based operation in Bannu, security forces have killed two terrorists with Indian sponsorship: a suicide bomber and a ring commander.
According to a press release from Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out on April 19, 2026, in response to reports of terrorist activity.
Two terrorists, including Ring leader Waheedullah alias Muktiar and a suicide bomber, were killed during a fierce gunfight.
From the dead terrorists, firearms, ammo, and a suicide jacket were also found.
Waheedullah, the head of the Kharji Ring, was listed as one of the most wanted terrorists due to his active participation in multiple terrorist acts, including the killing of innocent citizens and members of the security services. Additionally, on February 21, 2026, he was the primary handler of a suicide bomber in Bannu District, which led to Lieutenant Colonel Gul Faraz Shaheed’s martyrdom.
In fact, the operation has brought the primary offender to justice and exacted revenge for the horrible deed. Security forces’ prompt action also prevented a significant disaster, according to ISPR.
To get rid of any further terrorists with Indian sponsorship in the region, a sanitisation operation is being carried out.
According to ISPR, Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their relentless counterterrorism campaign under the vision “Azm e Istehkam” (approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) at full speed in order to eradicate the threat of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the nation.
