The K-P Assembly will meet in the stadium.

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Assembly will now meet tomorrow (Wednesday) at 3 p.m. at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar instead of the regular location.
The action, which aims to bring parliamentary processes closer to the people, represents a unique and unprecedented step in the history of the K-P Assembly.
Following Chief Minister Sohail Afridi’s announcement that the assembly session will be moved to an open space at a popular rally in Mardan, the uncommon decision was made. Opposition Leader Dr. Ibad and other legislative leaders were contacted by Speaker Babar Saleem Swati for discussions after the announcement. It was agreed upon that the opening session will be held at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium.
Using Rule 30 Sub-Clause (I), which gives the speaker the authority to call the current session at any location he sees fit, the Assembly Secretariat has formally announced the meeting.
Final preparations are underway for the historic session. A thorough sound system and special seating for Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPAs) are being set up inside the stadium. Additionally, the public will be able to watch the events from the stands.
The entire stadium was turned over to the police on Monday for logistical and security supervision, according to officials.
The speaker and the opposition have decided that regular legislative business will be the main focus of the session. It is anticipated that the chief minister will also be present during the meeting.
