Most of the country will continue to experience hot, dry weather: PMD

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the majority of the country will see hot, dry weather during the next 24 hours, with the possibility of sporadic rain, windstorms, and thunderstorms in the upper regions.

Partially cloudy conditions with sporadic rain and strong gusts are predicted for the upper regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir.

It is predicted that the hot, dry weather would continue in Islamabad, the federal capital.

The majority of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s districts will continue to be hot and dry. Upper districts, such as Dir, Chitral, Swat, Malam Jabba, Kohistan, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Bajaur, Khyber, and Parachinar, may see partly overcast weather with sporadic thunderstorms and showers.

While Murree and Galliyat may see light showers and thunderstorms, plain parts of Punjab are predicted to be hot and dry.

While Balochistan is expected to stay dry with high temperatures in its southern parts, Sindh will continue to endure hot and dry conditions. For Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir, partly cloudy skies with sporadic light rain, wind, and thunderstorms are also predicted.
