PIA commences pre-Hajj flight operations from Lahore.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has commenced its pre-Hajj operations from Lahore, with the inaugural flight to Medina departing on Friday.
The inaugural Hajj flight, PK-747, transporting 310 pilgrims, departed from Allama Iqbal International Airport. All Hajj flights are initially directed to Medina.
Sources indicated that around 12,000 pilgrims will depart from Lahore via 34 special Hajj aircraft.
The pilgrims were bid farewell by PIA Station Manager Ashfaq Awan, District Manager Wajid Saleem, and other PIA officials following an elegant ceremony at the airport. The PIA also distributed umbrellas to the pilgrims.
