Authorities are seeking the son of a former Senior Superintendent of Police implicated in a shooting incident in Clifton.

Police authorities have stated that investigators are utilising the Safe City and S-IV system cameras to track the movements of Agha Shaheer, the son of former SP Agha Asghar. “The camera footage indicates that the vehicle arrived in Shikarpur,” officials stated.

Yesterday, the South Police recovered the vehicle that bore its authentic number plate and was registered under the name of SP Agha Asghar, the father of the accused Agha Shaheer.

Officials stated that police conducted overnight raids to apprehend the suspect in the attempted murder case.

Officials report that the chief minister and home minister of Sindh have mandated the immediate arrest of the suspects.

The Inspector General of Sind Police and the Additional Inspector General of Karachi have also issued directives.

Officials investigating the event have stated that the police are gathering information regarding the whereabouts of Agha Shaheer and those who have provided him refuge. “Individuals who offered refuge to Agha Shaheer will also encounter legal repercussions,” officials stated.

During the incident on Thursday, following an altercation, the accused Agha Shaheer discharged a firearm at a government officer, resulting in severe injuries.
