Araghchi is set to visit Pakistan once more, according to Iranian media.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will return to Pakistan following his visit to Oman, according to state media, having departed Islamabad earlier today, as reported by AFP.

The IRNA news agency, referencing the foreign ministry, said that Araghchi “is set to visit Pakistan again after concluding his trip to Oman and prior to travelling to Russia.”

A portion of his team has returned to Tehran to seek guidance on matters pertaining to the cessation of hostilities and is expected to reunite with Araghchi in Islamabad on Sunday evening.

Iran maintains diplomatic relations with the Persian Gulf states.

Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for the Iranian foreign ministry, states that an Iranian team is visiting Oman for the first time since the onset of the Middle East conflict, which he claims has “affected the wider region.”

Baghaei stated on X that Iran continues to prioritise its relations with Persian Gulf governments and is dedicated to enhancing mutual trust and constructive collaboration.

He asserts that the relationship between Tehran and Muscat exemplifies Iran’s “authentic commitment to fostering respectful and mutually advantageous relations with its southern neighbours.”
