Trump commends Pakistan’s leadership as exceptional, beneficial for peace initiatives.

US President Donald Trump commended Pakistan’s role during the peace negotiations with Iran, while also indicating that he will not dispatch envoys Steve Wikoff and Jared Kushner to the nation due to excessive travel considerations.
I believe Pakistan is exceptional, and the field marshal is remarkable.’ Trump said reporters that he believes the Prime Minister of Pakistan is commendable and that there is a desire for progress.
“However, we will not travel 15 to 16 hours to meet with individuals who are unfamiliar to us.”
When enquired about the factors that led Trump to annul a visit to Pakistan by his envoys, he stated, “Excessive travel.”
“When informed that the meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, I respond, ‘Tuesday?’ That is a considerable duration until then. However, upon closer examination, that constitutes a considerable amount of travel,” he remarked.
President Donald Trump announced that he has instructed US envoys to refrain from travelling to Pakistan for further discussions with Iran, just after the departure of Iran’s chief ambassador from Islamabad on Saturday night.
