Restoring Islamabad and eliminating encroachments: Naqvi Mohsin

Restoring Islamabad to its original state and getting rid of all encroachments is still a major goal, according to Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

The federal capital is currently undergoing a massive, indiscriminate campaign against encroachments. An FC camp office constructed on a green belt close to Marriott and

Mohsin Naqvi oversaw the demolition of Aabpara Chowk as well.

Speaking at the event, the interior minister declared that Islamabad will continue its anti-encroachment campaign without distinction. He stated that the FC camp office would have a new, legal location and that illegal buildings and encroachments are being removed without any pressure.

He said that there is a zero-tolerance policy against land grabbers and encroachments, stressing that no government or private organization will be permitted to build or occupy public property illegally.
