PM orders youth to receive training in new technology.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a visit from Bilal bin Saqib, Minister of State and Chairman of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority, on Friday in Lahore.
In order to prepare Pakistan’s workforce for future demands, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif gave instructions during the meeting to take further steps to teach young people in contemporary technology, notably in the areas of digital finance and artificial intelligence.
In order to advance the digital economy and boost investor trust in the nation, the Prime Minister ordered that an efficient, globally compliant regulatory structure in the virtual assets sector be fully operational as soon as possible.
The Prime Minister was briefed by Bilal bin Saqib on the establishment of a regulatory sandbox and the transformation of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority into a fully functional regulator.
The briefing emphasised the introduction of innovation in fields including regulated virtual asset services and AI-powered payments.
It was also told that efforts are being made to get human resources, national institutions, and the legal system ready for the upcoming economic revolution.
