Mazar-e-Iqbal celebrates the Marka-e-Haq anniversary with a special homage.

To commemorate the first anniversary of the Marka-e-Haq triumph, a sombre event was organised at Mazar-e-Iqbal, where the Pakistani thinker was lavishly honoured.

Iqbal’s well-known verses, such as “Lab Pe Aati Hai Dua,” were performed by renowned vocalist Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, who enthralled the audience. At the occasion, students from different universities also showed their respect by laying floral wreaths.

Iqbal’s poetry was also performed by students from Government College University Lahore, which enhanced the mood of the event.

Participants included UET Vice Chancellor Dr. Shahid Munir, Principal of Fatima Jinnah Medical College Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, Principal of Kinnaird College for Women University Dr. Iram, Pro-Rector of University of Management and Technology Dr. Ijazullah Cheema, Dean of the University of the Punjab Dr. Baseera Ambrain, Dean of Lahore College for Women University Dr. Rehana, Dean of Government College University Lahore Dr. Shahzad Hussain, Vice Chancellor of Superior University Dr. Muhammad Nizam, and Dr. Nadeem Jaffer.

The success of Marka-e-Haq is a reflection of the realisation of Allama Iqbal’s vision, according to speakers who emphasised his ideology of Khudi and the Two-Nation Theory. Additionally, participants honoured Pakistan’s armed forces.

Speakers stressed that Iqbal’s ideas continue to serve as a source of inspiration for the younger generation.

A special prayer for the nation’s security, progress, and stability was said at the conclusion of this sombre occasion.
