Federal Constitutional Court allows big allowance boost for staff

The Federal Constitutional Court has granted a huge increase in allowances for its employees, which it described as a big comfort for staff.

Chief Justice Ameenuddin Khan accepted the rise and an official order was also issued in this connection.

According to the statement, judicial and utility allowances of employees have been enhanced by up to 50 per cent of the present basic wage.

The increased allowances will apply immediately to all workers of the Federal Constitutional Court.

“No other allowances shall be admissible during the period of extraordinary leave,” the decree said.

The expenses will be fulfilled from the budget allocated to the court for the financial year 2025-26 .

The Additional Registrar (Administration) issued the official notification.
