After Eid, JI will start a national campaign against the petrol mafia and IPPs.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, declared on Monday that he will begin a nationwide campaign against the petrol mafia and independent power producers (IPPs) following Eidul Azha.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman stated that the government had levied taxes on solar energy while speaking at a ceremony in Multan. He claimed that outsourcing government schools has destroyed the nation’s educational system. He claimed that in order to alter this system, people would need to come out.

He said that Jamaat-e-Islami is not run by a single family and does not have hereditary leadership, in contrast to other political groups in the nation. He stated that the system has to be changed.

According to Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, Pakistan’s debt has grown by Rs 80 trillion. According to him, the interest-based system is not going away. He went on to say that Jamaat-e-Islami will offer free education from kindergarten through university if given the chance.

In closing, he declared that monopolies owned by a small number of people would be eliminated and that a significant campaign against IPPs and the petrol mafia will be started following Eidul Azha.
