Sharjeel asks that MQM-P bring up the load shedding issue at cabinet sessions.

Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon of Sindh stated on Monday that Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) is a part of the federal government and requested that they bring up the loadshedding issue during cabinet sessions.
According to Sharjeel Memon, MQM-P has never brought up load shedding in a meeting with the federal government. He also suggested that MQM-P stage a news conference to criticize K-Electric and the federal administration.
Sharjeel Memon stated in the Sindh Assembly that institutions that produce electricity have their own inefficiencies. He said that the actions of electricity providers are unlawful. According to him, government organizations use collective punishment when they are unable to collect unpaid fees.
He added that load shedding can last up to 18 hours in Sindh’s rural districts and up to 12 hours in the city. He pleaded with the federal government to treat Sindh fairly when it comes to loadshedding.
