Fuel crisis in Pakistan as petrol and diesel prices reach Rs414 a litre.

Pakistan has declared a significant rise in fuel prices, elevating both petrol and high-speed diesel beyond the Rs400-per-litre threshold for the inaugural occasion.

The amended tariffs took effect at midnight, raising concerns of escalating transit expenses and inflationary pressures nationwide.

The recent announcement indicates that the federal government has raised the price of petrol by Rs14.92 per litre and diesel by Rs15 per litre. Subsequent to the increase, petrol is currently priced at Rs 414.58 per litre, while diesel is priced at Rs 414.78 per litre.
