Before Eid al-Adha, good news for workers

An official notification confirming the early payment distribution has been released by the provincial Finance Department. The decree states that on May 20, almost one week prior to Eid, all Muslim employees of the Sindh government will receive their May 2026 salary.

On Wednesday, May 20, retired provincial employees will also collect their pensions.

Due to a decision made by the provincial government, employees will receive two salaries in May as they were previously paid for April this month.

When it comes to the Zil Hajj moon sighting, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will make the final judgment. Its meeting is scheduled for May 17, the same day that zonal committees under the central committee will convene.
