PM Shehbaz praises a martyred citizen for stopping a suicide attempt in Jand.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif honored Liaqat, a courageous civilian who accepted martyrdom while stopping a significant terrorist attack close to the Khushal Garh Bridge in the interprovincial region between Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The prime minister said in a statement that Liaqat acted appropriately by halting a suspicious person and requesting identification close to the Jand and Khushal Garh Bridge in the Kohat area. The alleged terrorist killed himself during the encounter, making Liaqat a martyr.
According to Shehbaz Sharif, the martyr’s prompt bravery and valor saved several lives. He continued by saying that the country would always remember Liaqat’s extraordinary sacrifice and patriotism.
Liaqat’s sacrifice would continue to serve as an inspiration to all Pakistanis, the premier said, adding that such brave and daring citizens are a real emblem of the country’s resolve against terrorism.
He reaffirmed that in the battle against terrorism, the entire country supports the nation’s security forces and law enforcement organizations. The prime minister declared that through unity and solidarity, the Pakistani people would continue to confront terrorism and have always triumphed over the malevolent plans of adversaries.
Shehbaz Sharif also offered the dead family his sympathies and begged for the martyr’s status to be raised.
