Due to a love marriage quarrel, more than 100 homes in Jacobabad were set on fire.

Following a violent altercation sparked by a disagreement over a love marriage between members of two groups, more than 100 homes in Jacobabad were set on fire.
Sidra of the Channa community reportedly chose to wed Muhammad Hassan Buriro of the Buriro community. In a video statement, the couple said that after getting married on May 4 in a Hyderabad court, they were threatened and accused.
They said they were being harassed following the marriage and appealed to the authorities for safety.
Five individuals have been detained thus far, according to police, and a case has been filed against 32 people. While raids are ongoing to apprehend the remaining individuals, the FIR contains charges under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police Faizan Ali, investigations are under progress and every suspected person is being sought for.
Malhar Buriro, the groom’s father, claimed that some 400 armed men participated in the assault and questioned why the entire hamlet was targeted.
