PMD forecasts hot, dry weather nationwide and showers in the mountains.

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mostly hot and dry weather in most parts of the nation during next 24 hours with very hot temperatures likely to dominate during day time in southern and central regions.
The Met Office has forecast isolated rain-windstorm and thunderstorm in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Pothohar region, Kashmir and bordering mountainous areas. Hail storm may potentially occur at isolated areas during the period.
Weather forecast for Islamabad and vicinity: Hot and dry weather is likely to prevail during the day time while rain-windstorm/thunderstorm with isolated hailstorm is likely to occur during evening/night hours with likelihood of occurrence 55 percent.
Mostly cloudy weather expected in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with isolated rain-windstorm/thunderstorm in Dir, Swat, Malam Jabba, Kohistan, Bajaur, Kalam, Chitral, Buner, Kohat, Abbottabad, Peshawar, Swabi, Mardan, Malakand, Parachinar, Kurram, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat, Karak and Waziristan. Isolated hailstorms are also possible in some places.
Punjab is predicted to enjoy hot and dry weather mostly with very hot conditions in southern and central areas. Isolated rain-windstorm/thunderstorm is likely in Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Attock, Murree, Galiyat, Sargodha, Noorpur Thal, Khushab, Jhang, Mianwali, Layyah and Bhakkar districts and nearby areas.
Sindh is forecast to stay mostly hot and dry with very hot weather in the upper regions, while Balochistan will also observe primarily hot and dry weather. However, partly overcast conditions with isolated rain-windstorm/thunderstorm and chances of hailstorm are anticipated in Zhob, Sibbi, Barkhan, Loralai and Musakhel districts during the afternoon hours.
In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, partly overcast weather with isolated rain-windstorm/thunderstorm is forecast with isolated hailstorm also likely in Kashmir.
