Saudi authorities applauded for efficient management of Hajj

Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi felicitated the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the successful management of the Hajj season 1447 AH and termed it an extraordinary achievement made possible through the grace of Almighty Allah and the visionary leadership of the Custodian of the two holy mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Ashrafi said the success of this year’s Hajj represented the Saudi leadership’s ongoing work to serve the two holy mosques and the millions of pilgrims who journey to the sacred sites each year from around the world.

The extensive planning, constant supervision and continual enhancement of Hajj services under the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had led to one of the most successful pilgrimage seasons in recent years, he said.

The successful organization of Hajj 1447 AH is a wonderful achievement well appreciated. He said: “It is the fruit of the blessings of Allah, the generous directives of the Custodian of the two holy mosques, and the vision, dedication and around-the-clock oversight of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to constantly improve every aspect of the Hajj experience.

He singled out the crowd control method used during the journey and called it a model of international excellence.
Their operational plan to handle the movement of pilgrims was a world-class example of effective crowd control. It was part of a comprehensive system that was carried out with great accuracy, expertise and attention to detail,” he added.

He also applauded the Kingdom’s efforts in establishing programs, infrastructure and services to assure the safety, comfort and well-being of the pilgrims from the moment they arrive in the Kingdom until they leave after completing the holy rituals.

He stressed the importance of the Makkah Route Initiative and said that the project had eased travel processes for pilgrims to a large extent and had brought unparalleled comfort to lakhs of Hajj pilgrims from many nations.

Among the most effective programs assisting pilgrims is the Makkah Route Initiative. “Its positive impact has been widely recognised by pilgrims and participating nations alike,” he said.
