Two killed, three injured when pillar of under-construction house collapses in Shujabad

SHUJAABAD: At least two children were killed and three others injured when a pillar of an under-construction house collapsed in Shujabad on Tuesday.

Details suggest that the tragic incident took place in New Larh locality of Shujabad where a pillar of a house under construction fell down and buried four children and a woman under the debris.

After acquiring information police and rescue workers reached the spot and retrieved the corpses of two children from the rubbles while two youngsters and a lady were brought out in injured condition.

Rescue teams moved the dead and injured to a nearby hospital. The injured victims were thereafter moved to Nishtar Hospital Multan because of their grave condition. The dead were identified as 12-year-old Ayan and 10-year-old Rehan.
