Barrister Gohar requests that the Punjab government refrain from harassing PTI employees.

Barrister Gohar, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), asked the Punjab government to stop harassing and detaining PTI employees, claiming the party was using the streets to defend democracy and the nation.

Barrister Gohar said in a statement that Sohail Afridi, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, would spearhead a nonviolent protest in compliance with the law and the Constitution. He pled with the Punjab government, especially Rana Sanaullah, to avoid obstructing the chief minister’s path.

Additionally, he urged the Punjab government to refrain from intimidating and detaining PTI employees, stating that in order to ease political tensions, positive measures and reconciliation were required.Permission to meet with PTI founder Imran Khan and his family was asked by the PTI chairman.

According to Barrister Gohar, “the time for bullets should end” and there shouldn’t be any firing. He claimed that PTI workers would peacefully arrive in the capital and were traveling to Islamabad in search of justice.

He urged the administration to work toward reconciliation rather than enacting harsh measures, adding that accepting differences of opinion was a component of democracy.
